Mark your calendars for three upcoming book signing events: (1) Meet the Authors Day on Saturday, June 11, benefiting Our Chesterville Community Library. 03.02.2022 | Art Photography on Social Media

As a longtime photographer with an eye toward the aesthetic, Len has a large collection of images taken across the globe. A pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 2015 was no less fruitful than other destinations. Beginning today, Ash Wednesday, and continuing daily through Easter Sunday, Len will post select photos from the pilgrimage on Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest. A few more will follow sporadically during the Easter season. At Pentecost, all photos will appear on this website at the new Art Photography tab. May peace reign on earth.

The Connecticut Renaissance Faire commences on Labor Day weekend at the Lebanon County Fairgrounds and Len is scheduled as the Guest Author for Sunday, October 10. His signing booth will be located on The Shady Lane. Details are posted at Events.

Books in Boothbay: Maine's Summer Book Fair is back on track for 2021, and Len will be there to sign personalized copies of Celtic Crossing. Details for this major event happening on September 11 are posted at Events.


12.22.2020 | CGB Mystic Book Club Event Rescheduled

The Chelsea Groton Bank (CGB) Niantic Book Club event originally scheduled for last spring will now take place on January 27 via Zoom, hosted by the CGB Mystic branch. The event will begin at 5:30P and registration is required. See details at Events.

The Mystic Irish Parade and Sober St. Patrick's Day, rescheduled for October 25, have been canceled. Although the Author Meet & Greet planned for 3-5P will not take place, the book signing event at Bank Square Books from 12-3P is still on. See details at Events.

07.01.2020 | Connecticut Authors Trail and Other News

The 2020 Connecticut Authors Trail starts July 8 with virtual events throughout the summer. Join Len online as this year's Douglas Library of Hebron CAT Guest Author. The event will be live-streamed on Tuesday, August 25 and all are welcome. Physicians may be interested in a CME-accredited course on July 24-25 entitled Empowering Physicians to Heal Mind, Body, and Soul, featuring Len as Keynote Speaker. Attendance can be via online streaming or in person at St. Edmund's Retreat, Mystic CT. The Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library event originally scheduled for June 13 will happen virtually on Tuesday, July 28. See details at Events.

For audiobook fans, a preview including the Prologue and Chapter One of Celtic Crossing is now available here. It is narrated by the author, who claims no ability to feign an Irish accent or speak in upper registers.

The Mystic Noname Book Club has scheduled a virtual session to discuss Celtic Crossing, its selection for the month, on April 20. See details at Events. The Mystic Irish Parade and Sober St. Patrick's Day celebrations on March 22 have been rescheduled for October 25 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as have Len's book signing events at Bank Square Books and St. Patrick Church. The 5th Annual Local Authors Fest at the Public Library of New London has been canceled. Len is excited to announce several new events for the spring and summer. An author talk and signing entitled Celtic Crossing: A Quest into the Unexpected is scheduled for May 13 at the Waterford Public Library, May 14 at the Mystic & Noank Library, and June 13 at the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library. 02.16.2020 | Spring Author Events Scheduled

In addition to previously announced events scheduled for March 22 in tandem with the Mystic Irish Parade, there are three new regional events on Len's spring calendar. Patrons of the Garde Arts Center Winter Cinema Series will find Len at an authors' table in the lobby during the March 8 matinée showing of 1917. On March 28, he'll be participating in the 5th Annual Local Authors Fest hosted by the Public Library of New London. Books will be available for purchase and signing at both venues. He's also been invited for a discussion of Celtic Crossing with Niantic Book Club members on May 19, hosted by Chelsea Groton Bank. See details at Events.


02.12.2020 | The Resident Article Published

In the current issue of The Resident,  Roger Zotti penned an interview with Len and a thoughtful review of Celtic Crossing. Describing the novel as "powerful," he points out a standout moment late in the story between key characters Aideen and Father Kevin: "A quiet but crucial scene, there's much to ponder in it, the kind of scene actor, writer, director Greta Gerwig (Little Women) would say is recognizing 'the thing underneath.'" 01.24.2020 | Mystic Irish Parade Author Events Scheduled

Downtown Mystic is the venue for one of the most vibrant Irish parades in New England, with over 25,000 attendees and nearly 2,000 participants representing a hundred units. Scheduled for March 22—rain, shine, or snow—Len will greet revelers and sign copies of Celtic Crossing at two events along the route. Meet Len at Bank Square Books (corner of West Main and Water Streets) during the parade, or join the post-parade Sober St. Patrick's Day festivities cohosted by Enders Island and St. Patrick Church at the Church Center (32 East Main Street).
