Celtic Crossing and Celtic music are a perfect pairing, and Enders Island hosts both again this year. Stop by the gift booth where Len will be hanging out for the afternoon. All proceeds benefit the Enders mission. Father's Day, vacations, and lazy hazy summer days...all great for a great read!

Books in Boothbay: Maine's Summer Book Fair resumes its traditional July weekend date this year! The event is set for Saturday, July 9th, at Boothbay Railway Village, including morning (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and afternoon (1:00 to 4:00 PM) sessions. Updates are posted regularly on the fair's Facebook page, and the growing list of participating authors can be found here. Sales are courtesy of Sherman's Maine Coast Book Shops, with a share of proceeds benefiting Boothbay Railway Village and Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library. Len is scheduled for the afternoon session. Come visit, learn more about Celtic Crossing, and meet some great folks!

Enders Island is the idyllic location for the second annual pipes and drums tattoo, a Scottish tradition of musical troupe competition and cultural celebration. The action takes place on Sunday, June 19th, from noon to 5:00 PM. Stop by the sales booth where Len will be signing copies of Celtic Crossing—with all book proceeds benefiting the mission of Enders Island.

Rural Maine is the setting for this inaugural fundraising event benefiting the local Chesterville library. Twenty-plus authors will be signing books and offering related merchandise. Join Len at the grounds of the Chesterville Town Office on Saturday, June 11th, between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Bring your camera to capture the iconic scenery of inland Maine. PS: There's also a bake sale!

The Connecticut Renaissance Faire, dubbed New England's Olde England, will be held weekends from September 4th through October 17th. In addition to the numerous entertainment options, shops, and food vendors available, the Faire organizers have invited a different Guest Author each day for meet-and-greet photo ops and book signings. Len has been chosen for Sunday, October 10th and will be there in costume peddling Celtic Crossing. Stop by his booth on The Shady Lane anytime between 10:30 AM and 6:00 PM. And if you have a yen for flowers, be sure to visit his daughter Marie at The Gypsy Rose or wandering about as a beautiful lass.

This inspirational suspense novel set in modern-day Ireland features the historical exploits of Padraig, Bishop of Armagh, as he receives a holy relic for safekeeping after Rome's fall—a must-read for the Irish at heart. St. John Paul II Healing Institute, Catholic Medical Association, and St. Edmund's Retreat at Enders Island will cohost an educational medical conference entitled Empowering Physicians to Heal Mind, Body, and Soul. Presenters Cynthia Hunt, MD, and Michelle Critella, MD, will discuss the opioid crisis, COVID-19, gender identity, and physician burnout. Len will deliver the Keynote Address: The Crossing of Faith, Medicine, and the Arts. Details can be found in the course brochure. Online registration is available on the CMA website. The course will be streamed live, and a limited number of slots are available for onsite attendance. Registration is $100 with CME, or no charge without CME.
